I just want to congratulate to the Basketball team for this new title. It has been a show to see them playing. Congratulations fella’s!

Last night, in the Conference Center of Barcelona, it took place the 62ª edition of Sport World Awards. These awards recognize the merits of the best sportspeople of the year.
Andrés Iniesta received the Award to the Best Sportsperson of the year, award to which also two of his current partners, Xavi Hernández and Carles Puyol, were nominated.

The resonance of this afternoon has confirmed the worst for Andrés Iniesta. The breakage in the fascia of the previous rectum of the left leg. Andres will have to rest for two weeks and he wouldn’t play the final match of next Saturday.

The player from Fuentealbilla feels satisfied by the great fulfilled season full of prizes and recognitions and he congratulates the winner and to the rest of qualifiers, very especially “to Messi and Xavi, my friends and partners. They deserve these recognitions”.

Andrés Iniesta has signed today the renewal of his contract with the FC Barcelona. A renewal that ensures the player’s presence in the staff of Barcelona Football Club until the year 2015 and with which the Catalan club has wanted to ensure the permanence of “one of their own”.
Andres Iniesta says to be happy with the renewal and it asserts that one more step has been given “just to aside my dream of getting retired here in Barcelona”.

Tonight, in the Royal Post House of Madrid, the Professional Football League (LFP) has delivered the first edition of its awards to the best players of the League. Andrés Iniesta has received the award to the best offensive midfielder of the last season. The vote of this award, is in charge of all the coaches of the first Spanish division.
On the other hand, have received awards Daniel Alves (best defense), Xavi Hernandez (best midfielder), Leo Messi (best forward) and Sergi Busquets (award to the revelation player).
